How Did Lot's Nation Reply?

In the story of the people of Lot, his people's "only response" was to expel him and his followers:

And remember when Lot said his people: "Do you commit a shameful deed that no man has ever done before? You lust after men instead of women! You are certainly transgressors." But his people's only response was to say: "Expel them from your land! They are a people who wish to remain chaste."

7:80-82

And remember when Lot rebuked his people: "Do you commit that immorality while you are seeing? Do you really lust after men instead of women? Rather, you are a people behaving ignorantly." But his people's only response was to say: "Expel Lot's followers from your land! They are a people who wish to remain chaste."

27:54-56

But, in another verse, their "only response" is contradictory, and they ask Lot to bring them Allah's wrath upon them:

And remember Lot, when he said to his people: "You certaintly commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds. Do you really lust after men, abuse the wayfarers, and practice immorality in your open assemblies?" Yet his people's only response was: "Bring Allah's punishment upon us, should you be of the truthful."

29:28-29

It's quite a ridiculous claim to assume that all the years of preaching Lot gave to his people only involved a single dialogue with a single response from his people. In his preaching, he would have confronted them on many occasions about their evils, and this is clearly seen from Lot's dialogues prior to his people's replies to them, whose contents differ; 29:28-29 contains additional allegations (i.e., "robbing the wayfarers" and "committing shameful deeds in gatherings") in comparison to those found in verses 7:80-82 and 27:54-56 (i.e., "approaching men with lust instead of women"). Thus, the reply to each allegation should be different.
